Hello! I heard about this site and I just had to check it out. So far, it's pretty cool. I think the biggest reason I came here was to see who I could find. Originally being from Ohio and growing up bowling there, I met and bowled with some great people. Unfortunately I haven't kept in touch with most of them since I've moved away, so I hope to meet up with some of them again.
Also, bowling in Massachusetts isn't quite exactly what bowling in Ohio was like. I would love to get to know some of my fellow MA bowlers to see what's exciting here.
Let me tell you a little about my self. I started bowling when I was 10 at then BCA Medina Lanes. I used to watch the PBA on Saturdays and I really wanted totry it out. I was hooked. Quickly I improved and I was averaging 190 by the time I was 14. I finally broke the 200 average barrier when I was 16, and had by first 300 and 800 before I graduated from high school.
I attended Morehead State University and bowled on the team my freshman year, but I just didn't like the school. The bowling was great, and I got to meet and bowl with some wonderful people. I also had the pleasure of bowling with the great Kelly Kulick. I wish her success on the Tour, she is an awesome bowler!
After one year at Morehead, I decided that academics were more important, so I went to Ohio University. I decided at that point to stop bowling for several years, but got back into it before I left again. I then moved to Boston and have been bowling here for 4 years.
Here I am today. Hopefully I can get in touch with some of the people that I have met on this glorious journey. Thanks for reading, and may you all bowl tons of honor scores!
